Math Test Exemptions

You may be exempt from Mathematics placement testing if you have earned college credit for a college level math course (algebra-calculus) through FLCC or another institution. You must submit your college transcripts for all non-FLCC courses to the Admissions office prior to registration.

You may also be exempt from Mathematics placement testing if you are currently in high school or graduated within the last four years. Your high school transcript will be evaluated for placement into the appropriate math course.

Please Note: You must submit your high school transcripts to the Admissions office to be considered for testing exemptions. Submit ACT, SAT, and AP test scores separately if they are not included on your transcript.

If you have not submitted your transcript for evaluation prior to registration, you will be required to take the mathematics placement test.
