Applied Learning at FLCC
FLCC offers the following types of applied learning experiences, and some programs require you to complete one of them for credit towards your degree. Other programs offer them as electives. Many students also participate in co-curricular or non-credit experiences related to their course of study.

Service Learning and Volunteering
As an FLCC student, you’ll have many opportunities to volunteer in local communities, whether it is through a student club or during Laker Day. You may also find yourself assisting with the Habitat for Humanity build trip throughout spring break. Whatever your goals are for giving back to the community, our Student Life Office will provide you with information on volunteer opportunities.
