Artificial intelligence can improve the tasks we already do, or it can open doors to new approaches to problem-solving. This month’s FLX AI Hub programming tackles both concepts.

Webinars

Great ideas are often just ideas until they’ve been shared with and accepted by others. AI can help fine-tune strategies before you share them with real people. FLCC’s Adam Heidebrink-Bruno will take you through the process of creating a virtual focus group with the next webinar at noon Tuesday, Feb. 10.

AI for Educators

This month’s course for those enrolled in the AI for Educators subscription series is “Making IEPs with AI.” An IEP, short for Individualized Education Program, is a legal, written plan for public school students with disabilities, outlining their specific goals, services, and supports. This course prepares educators to write high-quality, compliant IEPs with the support of AI.

Participants will learn how to craft clear Present Levels of Performance, develop meaningful and measurable goals, and select appropriate supplemental modifications and testing accommodations while using AI as a tool to streamline thinking, reduce workload, and strengthen instructional decision-making.

AI for Educators is a series of courses that take one to three hours to complete. They are tailored for K-12 professionals. Sign up at any time to get access to past and future courses.
