Each dual-port, level 2 charging station can charge two cars simultaneously. They are available to students, employees and the public. Visitors can access the charging station features by downloading the EVoke EV Charging app on a smart device. The cost is 45 cents per kilowatt-hour (kWh).

The application provides users with seamless payment processing, charging status updates, real-time availability and more. Level 2 An electric vehicle plugged into an EV charging station. This infrastructure upgrade was made possible through grants from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) Charge Ready NY 2.0 Program, this year, as well as additional funding from Rochester Gas and Electric under the Make Ready Program. The upgrade aligns with the College’s master plan and ongoing commitment to sustainability, with a mission to reduce emissions, manage waste responsibly, and educate students about environmental challenges.
