Aman is the youth employment and training counselor for Yates County Workforce Development. As trustee, she is a member of the Student Corporation Executive Committee. She also serves on the Student Corporation Activities Committee, which develops ideas for events that enable in-person and online students to engage in college life.
“I wanted to join the board as student trustee to ensure that students have a strong, authentic voice in the decisions that shape our education and college experience,” Aman said. “I am committed to bridging the gap between policy and the lived experiences of my peers. My goal is to advocate for greater equity, well-being, and engagement across all student groups.”
Aman will serve on the 10-member Board of Trustees and have full voting rights as a trustee. Student trustees serve for one year and are elected every spring semester for the following academic year. She is married with two children, ages 2 and 12.
