This event will cover:
- An overview of public health as a career field: what public health professionals do, and why the field continues to grow.
- Different career paths and specializations within public health, including opportunities in global health work.
- How local public health efforts connect to health challenges and initiatives around the world, such as infectious disease response, humanitarian aid, international health organizations like the WHO and CDC's global programs, and cross-border health policy.
