STEAM in Orbit: Ready to Launch

Children in grades 6-9 are welcome to register for STEAM in Orbit: Ready to Launch at Newark Campus Center.

Campers will explore computer science and game design. They will learn about technology and skilled trade careers through interactive tools, including virtual welding simulations. Students will also learn about careers related to the Artemis mission to return humans to the moon. Students will design, test, and launch pop bottle rockets, applying physics concepts such as force, motion, and trajectory. Registration is required.

• Camp Dates: July 13-17
• Time: 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Cost: $250

Costs include camp supplies, snacks, and a souvenir. Campers bring their own lunch. A limited number of scholarships are available, based on household income. For questions, email steam.camp@flcc.edu.
