At FLCC, you'll develop skills in data acquisition, automation, mechatronics, and control systems, preparing you for a high-tech job upon graduation. Your education will lead you to a career in industries such as advanced manufacturing, nanotechnology, transportation, and communications.
This program combines math and physics with electronics, design, process improvement, data acquisition, and automation technologies. Coursework is reinforced through job shadowing and paid co-ops.

The Instrumentation and Control Technologies program is directed by Sam Samanta. Working with approximately 40 businesses across diverse local industries, Dr. Samanta identifies opportunities for paid co-ops in the high-tech field, which lead to exciting careers for graduates of this program.
