Governance Executive Committee
Our Governance Executive Committee at FLCC is responsible for routing policies to their appropriate governing body, which includes Academic Senate or College Council. This committee establishes open lines of communication between governing bodies, various constituencies, and the President. In addition, it is also in charge of appointing a parliamentarian.
Governance Executive Committee Structure
The Governance Executive Committee is co-chaired by the chairs of Academic Senate and College Council. Other members of this committee include representatives from the faculty, professional staff, support staff, and student body. The President of FLCC is also a member of the Governance Executive Committee.
Governance Executive Committee Role
The role of the Governance Executive Committee is to promote an understanding of the governance structure and governance issues that arise at FLCC. It also seeks to have open lines of communication to all members of the campus community.
Project Highlights
The Governance Executive Committee has been responsible for creating documentation regarding decisions about whether an issue is a governance or management issue.
