Q: When will the Victor Campus Center open?

FLCC’s brand-new, state-of-the-art campus center in Victor will open in January of 2010.

Q: When and where can I register for classes at the new Victor Campus Center?

The Victor Campus Center will be offering a full slate of classes for the Spring 2010 semester, which begins in January. Registration for the Spring semester will take place in November. You will be able register for classes at the Victor Campus Center at any one of our current locations (Canandaigua, Newark, Geneva) or online.

Q: What is the benefit of attending the Victor Campus Center?

If you live in the surrounding area, the Victor Campus Center is close to home and easily accessible. With its location in the heart of Victor’s thriving tech-centered business community, the Victor Campus Center provides a wonderful educational experience in a small, personalized atmosphere. You can start with a full-time schedule or just a course, and the services you need to succeed will be available.

Q: Can I receive financial aid for courses at the Victor Campus Center?

Yes, financial aid is available for both full and part time studies depending on eligibility.

Q: Are the credits I earn at the Victor Campus Center transferable?

Yes, you are earning FLCC credit just as you would at the Canandaigua campus. FLCC credit transfers to other SUNY and private colleges across the country.

Q: Can I earn a degree at the Victor Campus Center?

You can complete the majority of courses required for a degree at the Center. However you will need to attend the Canandaigua campus in order to fulfill all your degree requirements.

Q: What is a Regional Learning Partner?

The Victor Campus Center’s Regional Learning Partners are four-year colleges and universities that offer degree programs from their respective institutions at the Victor Campus Center. When you are ready to move on from FLCC, you can earn a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree right at the Victor Center.

Q: What if I want to change my schedule?

The Victor Campus Center Staff will be able help you change your schedule when the Center opens in January of 2010. You may also do so online through WebAdvisor at http://webadvisor.flcc.edu.

Q: Can I use the Victor Campus Center's computers if I am not taking classes at the Center?

If you are a registered student at FLCC and have applied for a computer account, you may use the computers at any of our locations. For more information about how to apply for a computer account, please contact the FLCC Computer Help Desk at (585)394-3500x7219.
