NOTES:

  • * CERTIFICATE OF RESIDENCE: A valid Certificate of Residence, issued by your home county is required with your registration. A Certificate of Residence is valid only when issued within 60 days prior to the start of class.
  • For all SUNY Learning Network (SLN) courses, add $10.00 per credit hour SLN Charge.
  • Music students will have additional fees. Refer to FLCC Catalog for information on other fees.
  • Nursing students will have additional fees per course of $50.00 for NUR 100, NUR 101, and NUR 202; and $60.00 for NUR100, NUR101, NUR202, NUR203, NUR204 and NUR215
  • Additional fees are charged for PE214 ($7.00) and PE 242 ($7.00).
  • Tuition and Fee rates are subject to change without notice and pending Board of Trustees approval.

REFUND POLICY FOR CREDIT COURSES:

  • If tuition has been paid by cash, check or credit card, you may be entitled to a refund if timely drop slips or withdrawal documentation are submitted to the Registrar's Office (Tel: 585-394-FLCC ext. 7622).
  • The date on which the Registrar receives the forms (for withdrawal or drop) will be used to determine refunds.
  • A verbal notice by a student to an instructor, advisor, or any FLCC staff member does not constitute a formal course withdrawal or drop.
  • Lack of attendance does not reduce tuition and fees; therefore, timely withdrawals or drop slips will ensure proper credit to your student account.
  • To receive a 100% refund of already paid tuition and fees, the completed forms must be received by the Registrar's Office one business day prior to the start of fall and spring semesters.

Fall 2009

Refund schedule for credit courses 15 weeks or more is as follows:

Approved drop/withdrawal on or before 9/4/09 --tuition and fees 100%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 9/8/09 through 9/14/09 --tuition only 75%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 9/15/09 through 9/21/09 --tuition only 50%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 9/22/09 through 9/28/09--tuition only 25%
Approved drop/withdrawal on or after 9/29/09 0%

 

Refund schedule for Credit Courses LESS than 15 weeks:

The date on which the Registrar receives the Course Drop/Withdrawal forms will be used to determine refunds. To receive 100% REFUND of already paid tuition and fees, the completed forms must be received by the Registrar's Office ONE BUSINESS DAY PRIOR TO THE FIRST CLASS MEETING DATE. If you drop a class within seven calendar days from the start date of the class, you will be entitled to a 25% refund (of tuition only). There is NO REFUND granted for course drops after the seven calendar days from the start date of the class.

Spring 2010

Refund schedule for credit courses 15 weeks or more is as follows:

Approved drop/withdrawal on or before 1/22/10 --tuition and fees 100%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 1/25/10 through 1/29/10 --tuition only 75%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 2/1/10 through 2/5/10 --tuition only 50%
Approved drop/withdrawal between 2/8/10 through 2/12/10--tuition only 25%
Approved drop/withdrawal on or after 2/15/10 0%

REFUND POLICY FOR CREDIT-FREE COURSES

(Vocational, Personal Enrichment, Professional Development)

Refunds processed for these courses will be for students who have already paid and have officially submitted a drop form to the Registrar's Office one business day prior to the start of classes. Please contact the Division of Professional Studies and Continuing Education (Tel: 585-394-3500 ext. 7660) one business day prior to the date the class starts if you wish to drop the course.
